The last month has mostly been dedicated to working on final art for Alfie Runs Away, by Ken Cadow. This is a super cute story about a little boy who gets fed up when his mother tries to take away his favorite shoes, so he decides to pack his bag and head out alone into the world (aka 'the backyard'). Ken Cadow's adorable story reminds me of some of my very favorite classic picture books from the 60's -- It is great fun for me to bring Alfie to life! More sneak-peaks soon...
